COAST meeting this Tuesday, October 13th - ART 114

Film Club

Thursday (10/8/09) is our first meeting! I don't know about you, but I'm immensely excited.

COME OUT TO THE ART BUILDING, ROOM 112 AT 9:15 PM.

I'll be showing Arsenic and Old Lace. It's a wonderful comedy from 1944. Don't dismiss this movie because it's old... you're going to love it.

Synopsis: A drama critic learns on his wedding day (Halloween) that his beloved maiden aunts are homicidal maniacs, and that insanity runs in his family.

This month will contain our "eerie/creepy" theme. Here is a list of the other films I'll be showing this month:

COAST Was There: Chalk It Up!

September 19th, Siloam Springs Parks & Recreation hosted a community event for children called "Chalk It Up!", and COAST was there! Members of COAST helped encourage kids creativity by building crafts, painting, sidewalk chalk art, sculpting play-doh, making bead necklaces, and much more.

We all had a blast, got free pizza, and even had caricature's done for free. Can you guess who's who?
